GYMNASTICS
Our dedicated gymnastics building hosts a multitude of gymnastics equipment to challenge even the more advanced gymnasts among our campers! Of course, this activity is supervised by trained staff who are gymnasts themselves so they can instruct campers on even the most complicated gymanstics skills!

ROPES
Speed down our zip line, test your skills on our rock climbing walls, or challenge yourself at one of many ropes courses. Camp Shalom offers professionally built ropes courses with professional training and supervision, specific to each and individual camper!

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Hike through the many nature trails that surround Camp Shalom in beautiful Gravenhurst! Climb up to the top of the Lion's Head, Camp Shalom's very own cliff, and see the gorgeous panoramic view of Lake Muskoka! Campers also get a chance to experience various activities such as Archery, Survival Skills, and more!


ITON / MEDIA
Campers get to be a part of Camp Shalom's various media outlets! Whether its writing for the Camp Newsletter that gets distributed weekly or adding photos and content to our New Online Camp Newsletter, campers get to express their creative sides!


PHOTOGRAPHY
This chug/activity gives campers their own freedom to express themselves through photography. Using digital and traditional film cameras and video cameras, campers learn how to capture the moment. New additions to this chug include putting together the camper slideshow which is showcased during banquet night, and a camp video which will appear on our site! 


ARTS & CRAFTS
There's no doubt that this is the messiest chug/activity at camp! Campers get to take part in a new arts and craft project each and every day! There's no shortage of creative projects here! Our staff have thought of it all - from stained glass, jewellery making and tie die, Arts and Crafts is the place where artistic talent blossoms!


BAMA / THEATRE
Lights! Camera! Action! At this exciting chug, campers learn the fine art of performance in practicing parts for camp-wide theatrical productions that take place almost each week in our theatre! Some of our productions include classic titles, and others are Camp Shalom originals!


DANCE
Campers receive daily dance instruction from our qualified dance instructors in our dedicated dance facilities! From learning new routines and dance moves, to putting on the annual Visitor's Day Dance, both boys and girls alike love this Camp Shalom favourite!


FITNESS
In this chug/activity, Campers will take to the trails, participate in yoga and lots of other instructed fitness routines! This even includes a Camp Shalom favourite - water aerobics!



In addition to all these chugs/activities that campers participate in on a daily basis, Camp Shalom boasts original programming suited to age group each and every evening after dinner! Staff prepare for these programs before the summer begins to ensure that there is no shortage of amazing programs! Camp Shalom has become notorious for its unique programming and is proud to offer various camp-wide programs which have become one of the highlights of each and every summer here!
