Camp Shalom and the OCA
The Ontario Camping Association (OCA) has established a program of accreditation to ensure that high standards of practice are in place in all OCA camps. Camp Shalom voluntarily adheres to a wide range of standards addressing all aspects of the profession: administration, tripping, food, maintenance, swimming, health, safety, programming, and leadership. All standards are regularly reviewed and revised by the OCA Standards Committee. Only fully accredited camps are permitted to display the OCA logo. It is the symbol of quality organized camping in Ontario.
